IMMIGRATION LEGAL ADVICE CLINIC
HOW IT WORKS
Our service is regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) Ref No. N202000125
Our immigration legal advice service operates every other Wednesday afternoon in term time (see below for our term dates 2024/25). Each appointment is 45-minutes, within which you will receive legal advice. The advice is given by an accredited immigration caseworker, with 2-3 of our law students observing. All legal advice is free. We do not offer on-going legal advice, ‘take on’ your case as a solicitor would or advocate on your behalf at court. However, you are welcome to book another appointment if you require further advice.
“Annie and the team from the clinic at the University of Westminster have been absolutely amazing and have literally saved my life by helping me reach British Citizenship which has been an issue for me since the 60’s. Communication was great, along with the empathy the team portrayed. Thanks again”
We accept referrals from organisations (legal or non-legal) and self-referrals. We offer face to face appointments at our offices near Oxford Circus or online/phone appointments.
